Privacy policy.

How this website handles visitor data — written plainly, because there is very little to hide.

Who we are

This website is operated by Marbella Performance Lab (“we”, “us”), a performance hub for amateur athletes based in Marbella, Spain. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

You can reach us at any time at marbellaperformancelab@gmail.com.

What we collect

We keep this website deliberately light. When you visit, the only thing we store on your device is your cookie preference — a small record in your browser storage so the consent screen does not reappear on every visit.

This record contains no name, email address or identifier. It cannot be used to single you out, and it never leaves your device.

What we do not do

We do not run advertising trackers, profiling tools or cross-site tracking on this website.

Optional analytics cookies are not currently active. If we ever introduce them, they will only be enabled for visitors who selected “Accept all”, and this policy will be updated before that happens.

Information you send us

If you contact us by email, we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address and message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to prepare for your visit to the lab.

We do not add you to mailing lists without asking first, and we do not share your details with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep things

Your cookie preference stays in your browser until you clear it yourself — we keep no server copy.

Email enquiries are kept only as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to or restrict certain uses, and ask for a copy to take with you.

To exercise any of these rights, email marbellaperformancelab@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change — for example if we introduce analytics with your consent — we will update this page and the date below before the change takes effect.
